Air Itam Dam ( Empangan Air Itam )

Opened in 1962, this reservoir is a popular recreational and picnic venue. It is located on gentle hillocks, next to Penang Hill. The dam commands panoramic views of Penang Island and Georgetown. It is accessible via the same hill road that leads to Kek Lok Si Temple.


 


Cycling to the peak of Air Itam Dam was very fun.
for beginner, the routes are very tough. I've been through it before. here we play with emotion, even though we still have a lot of energy but we are weak mentally challenging uphill. This is the difference between a newbie with 'otai'.

After two or three times cycling uphill, I have managed to adapt to the situation. mental and emotional was successfully controlled, although energy increasingly critical.hahaha...but still i'm the slowest when cycling climbing uphill among the JCC.
