Cycling to the peak of Penang Hill

Greetings

Saturday- on the 4th of January 2014 JCC has been involved cycling to the peak of penang hill.
some among JCC member were amateur and newbie including me. this event may not be so special to others club but for us it brings so much memories that will never be forgotten.
the expedition started at about 0700hrs and finished around 1430hrs.  Here are the route that we've been went through.

starts from Farlim - Jalan Ru - Jalan Thean Theik Lama - Old Sunshine Farlim - Jalan Sempadan - Jalan Padang Tembak - crossing Batu Gantung Graveyard - Jalan Batu Gantung - Jalan Scotland - Jalan Utama - Jalan Kebun Bunga - Botanical Garden Penang - and starts climbing the hill from this spot to the top of Penang Hill.

We rested at the top of the hill, having our lunch and of course take some pictures!!!haha. but this was just the first part of the expedition.

After finishing our lunch, its time to go downhill using other route.

from the 'canopy walk' we were cycling until the end of the road and enter the small trail into the forest that was called the TIGER HILL among the riders. Correct me if im wrong......

the route was really tough for newbie like me. Me and Rahim were the last and the slowest member. This was the first time for me and Rahim using trail road when cycling. it was very-very tough for we both. Sorry guys...hehe.

Finally we arrived at the Air Itam Dam route.
goshhh.... I  believe this event was a success for the JCC.

From air itam dam we were cycling down the hill using the route :
Jalan Air Itam - Jalan Paya Terubong - and finally to the finishing line - Farlim.

We are all satisfied and very happy to have completed this ride without any accidents. Alhamdulillah.
